A Social Gathering Committee has been appointed
to plan and organise social functions during the year.
A Spring Festival Celebration was held at Kwun Tong
Vocational Training Centre at which for the first time
in many years staff members from various departments
and centres joined for fun and fellowship.

Day Care Centre

Our Services in 1976/77
1. Our three Day Care Centres (Tai Hang Tung, Kwun
Tong, Lei Cheung Uk) daily look after 500 children.
Since 1975 Government established a Child Care
Ordinance and had started its implementation in April
1976. Our three Day Care Centres are undergoing regist-
ration procedures. While the quality of service is main-
tained at a satisfying level at all centres, the Child Care
Coordinator is planning for improvements in staff
training, programme planning and coordination.
