DIVISION OF MISSION

The D ivision o f Mission consists o f tw o operational com-
m ittes: one fo r yo u th w ith one staff member and the other
fo r in dustry w ith six staff members. In a d dition, the Division
relates itself to organizations concerned w ith education and
Christian mission. The staff participated in the Chinese C on-
gress on W orld Evangelism and produced a report which
was w idely discussed.

1. Youth Work

The concern fo r yo u th is expressed by a you th
com m ittee, tw o thirds o f the members are appointed
by member churches. Through the Y ou th Secretary’s
o ffice , a forum is provided fo r yo u th leaders in Hong
Kong and Asia. It assists program m ing and bi-lateral
relationships. This past year the emphasis was on
ecumenical and regional yo u th activities w ith the p u r-
pose o f enabling our yo u th leaders to plan and grow in
an awareness o f Asian realities.
