In September 1976 Mrs. Jean Chan, Rev. Mary
A u, Ms. Wong Po-Yiu, Rev. Jane Hwang, and Ms.
Wong King-Wan joined the N orth Asian Seminar of
Christian W om en 's Leadership Training held in South
Korea. These wom en represented the Hong Kong
Christian Council. In May 1977 Mrs. Jean Chan attend-
ed the 6th Assembly o f the Chirstian Conference of
Asia and Ms. Wong Po-Yiu attended the Asian W om en’s
Forum o f th e C.C.A.
A ctivitie s during the past year included a welcome
party fo r the w orking com m ittee m eeting o f the Asian
Church W om en’s Conference; a Lunar New Year Tea
Party at which tim e more than sixty wom en leaders
fro m various denom inations briefed each other on
the ir w o rk and dicussed the fu tu re o f w om en’s w o rk
here; and conducted three seminars on the role of
wom en in the church and in society. Four more
seminars are planned fo r 1977 beginning in May.
