received three buns and a cup of water. Money
collected was donated to the Hong Kong Christian
Council for the hungry people in Bangladesh.
c) On Thursday morning, January 23, 1975 at the
regular Sheng Kung Hui Clergy Meeting, Bishop
Baker invited clergy and ministers of all denomi-
nations to participate in the Holy Communion
followed by a breakfast fellowship. The Rev.
Wong Tsok and Rev. Lincoln Leung read the
scripture. Father John Tong, Chairman of the
Week of Prayer for Christian Unity Committee
delivered the sermon. The Holy Communion was
administered by the Bishop assisted by Canon
Andrew Pang, Dr. Peter Wong and the General
Secretary of the Council, The Rev. William Tung.
d) The Living Word Service held at the new Salisbury
Road YMCA Chapel on January 23, 1975 was sponsored
by the English speaking Clergy and Ministers Group.
Dr. Peter Lee gave an exegesis on the theme:
"All Things In Christ" followed by three respondents
Mrs. Millie Carroll on Education, Miss Marie Louise
Beyns on Community Development and Dr. L. K. Ding
on Social Concerns.
e) The high light of the Week was centered at the Musical
Worship Service held on Friday evening at 8 o 'clock
at the Chinese Methodist Church, Gascoign Road, Kowloon.
The Choirs participating in this community wide joint
worship service were St. John?s Cathedral Choir,
Roman Catholic Cathedral Choir, The Hop Yat Church
and the Salvation Army Band. The Rev. Wong Tsok
preached the sermon.
