               1) Clergy and Ministers Group

To fulfill the Council's purpose of serving as a meeting
place for fellowship and the exchange of views on matters

of common interest, the Council's Church Unity Committee
initiated and promoted a monthly gathering of a group of
Chinese clergymen to discuss a variety of topics such as

"The Thinking of Arnold Toynbee", "The Contemporary Christ",
"Laussane Conference", "Lay Training", "New Possibilities
for Education", "The Possibilities for Evangelism in China

mainland", etc. have been discussed. The participants take
turns to arrange the program for each three months. The

gathering provides a forum for clergy and ministers to
study and discuss theological and social issues in depth.
It also helps them to share their concern for the life of
                    the Church of Hong Kong.
