VI. CONCLUSION
We dare not to say that we have achieved a great deal during the
year. But we tried to be good and faithful stewards of tho reasources
provided by our Lord through the member churches of the Council, local
funding organizations and other supporting churhces overseas. We have
sincerely sought to witness and coinmunicate the church of Hong Kong's
concern and its participation in mission and service. To continue a
healthy witness the Christian churches in Hong Kong, individually as
denominations and collectively in the Council, must:
Participate in decision making regarding the
role of the Hong Kong churches and particularly
their relationship to Asia of which we are a
member.
Give sacrificial support of the churches' resources
in money and manpower for the fulfillment of His
mission.
When our churches achieve this, Christ's church in Kong Kong will
be able to dynamically, fearlessly and effectively reach out its
services and voice the prophetic message of our Lord Jesus Christ
"to preach good news to the poor, to proclaim releave to the captives,
recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are
oppressed and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord".
