co-operating local Hong Kong churches are accepting the responsibi-
lity for the Christian expression of social concern in the community.
And secondly, the policy making and implimentation will be the result
of decisions by a locally governed body. This will also mean that
more local resources will need to be mobilized to support this
expression of Christian social concern.

Hong Kong Christian Service affirms anew its commitment to be
a place for people, a place where people come together with others
to face the conflicts of the human family and experience reconcilia-
tion, a place for the healing and growth of persons, a place to
nurture, support, encourage and strengthen them.

We invite you to visit us at our Social Service Centre, 33
Granville Road, Kowloon. Hong Kong Christian Service is open to
any person regardless of religious background, social or economic
status. Requests for service, consultation or referral information
may be made directly or by calling 3-670071.
Our Service

(1) 500 children are looked after in three DAY CARE CENTRES (Tai
Hang Tung, Kwun Tong, Lei Cheng Uk) where they find security,
affection, better health through proper nutrition and joy
through games and learning activities.
(2 ) 40 children, disabled and/or mentally retarded, are being
served in our PUT OI SPECIAL TRAINING CENTRE, Tsuen Wan.
This project is designed for children with special learning
as well as physical, social and emotional problems. They
are grouped according to age, mental and physical abilities.
Various in and outdoor recreational facilities are provided
for them.
