This Committee was formed in 1975 — International Year of Woman. In this short span, the woman has
established themselves in terms of co-ordinating and uniting the member churches woman societies; broaden and
deepen the programs of the com m ittee; trying to relate the professional Christian woman in the society; and repre-
sentives participating in the regional gatherings have demonstrated Hong Kong and are appreciated. The future looks

bright for the woman’in Hong Kong.
Programme
1. Seminars on W oman’Work

Two seminars under the headings of “How to arrange woman’program”and “Techniques in Visitation”were
held in October and December. With the leadership by three outstanding local church pastors, the seminars
drew a good num ber o f women from different local churches.
2. Chinese New Year Celebration Service
Held at the Mariner's Club. The Rev. Wu Ming Chieh led the devotion, followed with fellowship tea party.
3. Professional Christian Woman Luncheon
Was held in April at the Merlin Hotel. Dr. B. M. Kotewell gave the talk on the role of woman in the Mission of
the Church. Attendance were Women from different professional fields.
Conferences
1. Ecumenical Consultation of Theologically Trained Woman Workers, Sibu, organized by the ACWC and CCA.
