7.  To develop regional co-operation among churches.
                        8.  Youth work:  The Council should seek ways and means to
                             promote Christian youth work through strengthening the
                             present Youth Committee.

                        9.  Concerning the relations to the community HKCC should
                            give much concerns on the urban impersonal situation
                            which exists in the  community.

                      10.  The Council should be the voice of the Church and to play
                            an active role in interpretating social needs and problems
                            in Hong Kong.

                          The second Executive Staff Retreat  was held on March 3rd -
                     4 th 1970,  to work on the following matters:


                       A.  To revise the Constitution and By-Laws of the Council.

                        B.  Follow-up on the Consultation on Mission of the Church
                            in Hong Kong.

                        C.  Program for Annual General Meeting 1970.

                        D.  Growth of the Council.

                        E.  Future Direction of the Council.

                        F.  Inter-Church Aid Fund Raising.


               VI.  COOPERATION WITH GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENTS

                          During the year,  the Council had the privilege of working
                     together with the City District Offices in Kowloon and other
                     Government Departments by providing them with information on
                     church activities and from time to time expressing our views
                     on social issues such as youth,  blacked-out bars,  ombudsman
                     scheme,  etc.  The Council also provided materials for the
                     Section on Christianity in the chapter on religion in the
                     Government's Report,  1969.
               VII.  VISITORS


                          During the year,  the Council had the previlege  of meeting
                     the following working partners from overseas and discussed with
                     them on matters of common concern:
