Participation  in  other
         Ecumenical  Conferences

          A.  The  Consultation  on  Christians  in  Industry  and  Lay  Training  sponsored
              by  the  E.A.C.C.  was  held  at  Kyoto,  Japan,  from  liny  18  -  25,  1966.
              The  theme  for  the  Consultation  was  "God's  people  in  Industrial
              Society."  Delegates  from  l6  Asian  Couhtries  attended  the  Consult
              ation.  The  Council  appointed  the  Rev.  Philip  Fong  as  Hong  Kong
              delegate  to  the  Conference.

         B.  The  Asia  Conference  on  Christian  Education  join tly  sponsored  by
              the  World  Council  of  Christian  Education  and  the  East  Asia  Christ
              ian  Conference  held  its   sessions  in  Hong  Kong  from  June  15  -  17,
              1966.  Miss  M.  Proctor  and  Mr.  Calvin  Ngai  were  invited  to  part-
              icipate  in  the  Conference.

         C.    A  Conference  on  Cooperation  of  Men-Women  in  Church, Home ,  and
              Society  sponsored  by  the  EACC  was  held  from  July  27  -  August  2nd,
              1966  at  the  International  Christian  University,  Tokyo,.Japan.  Miss
              Rita  Luk  and  Miss  Lam  Mo  Chee  were  appointed  as  HK  delegates  to  the
              Conference,  while  Mr.  Calvin  Ngai  attended  in  his  capacity  as  Co-
              Chairman  of  the  EACC  Cooperation  Committee.


          D.  The  Asian  Church  Women's  Conference:  was  held  in  Tokyo,  Japan,
               July  15  -  26,  1966.  The  Conference  theme  was:  "Abide in  Me  .....
              bear  much  fr u it."  Miss  Lam  Mo  Chee  and  Mrs.  Shun  Tak  Yan  were
               appointed  as  HK  delegates,  and  Mrs.  John  Ma,  Miss  L.  Armentrout,
               and  Miss  Rita  Luk  attended  the  Conference  as  leaders.

          E.  East  Asia  Christian  Kindergarten  Teachers  Conference  join tly  spon­
               sored  by  the  EACC  and  the  Japan  Christian  Kindergartens  Association
              was  held  during  November  7  -  14,  1966  in  Tokyo,  Japan  -  Miss  Angela
               Chao  was  appointed  as  HK  delegate.

          F.  Faith  and  Order  Conference:  was  held  during  October  26  -  November
              3 ,  1966  in  Hong  Kong.  Rev.  Canon  S.  K.  Lee,  Rev.  Danniel  Chow,
               Rev.  Wong  Tsok  and  Mr.  Calvin  Ngai  were  .invited  as  HK  delegates.

          G.  Youth  Consultation  and  Leadership  Training  Course  'was held  during
               April  3  -  15,  1967  in  Singapore.  The  Rev.  Peter  Kwong,  Vicar  of
               the  St.  James  Church  was  appointed  by  the  Council  to  participate.

          E.  Christian  Education  and  Lay  Training  Conference  sponsored  by  the
               EACC  w ill  be  held  on  April  24  -  30,  1967  in  Singapore.  Rev.  John
               Chow  and  Rev.  Peter  Kwong  were  appointed  by  the  Council  to  attend
               the  Conference.

          I .  East  Asia  Christian  Medical  Workers  Conference

                   The  Conference  sponsored  by  the  EACC  w ill  be  held  on  April
               27  -  May  1,  1967  at  Tozanso  near  Tokyo,  Japan.  The  Conference
               theme  is   "Christian  Presence  of  Medical  Work  in  Asia  To-Day"  -
               A  Re-discovery  and Strategy for  Medical  Mission  in  our  Communities.
               The  Council  has  appointed  Mrs.  Grace  W.  H.  Wong,  Dr.  E.  H.  Paterson
               and  Dr.  Ting  Lik  Kiu  as  HK  delegates.

          J.  The  4th  World  Institute  on  Christian  Education,  sponsored  by  the
               World  Council  of  Christian  Education  w ill  be  held  on  July  17  -  28
               1967  at  University  College  in  Nairobi,  Kenya,  E.  Africa.

                    The  theme  w ill  be:  "God's  People  in  God's  World:  Living,
               Learning,  Teaching."  The  emphasis  w ill  be  on  the  whole  Church,
               especially  the  la ity ,  for  their  mission  in  the  world.

                    The  Council  has  appointed  Rev.  Ho  Sai  Mng,  Rev.  Lee  Chi  Chee
               and  Mr.  Calvin  Ngai  as  HK  delegates.
