      need  to  be  taken  in  consideration  as  H K CC
      endeavors  to  have  m ore  com prehensive  contact
      w ith the C hinese C hurch.  H ong K ong C hristian
      can  be  very  m uch  enriched  through  contacts
      w ith  C hinese  C hristians  from   various  regions
      and backgrounds.

   3.  Specializing o f M inistry
      A  decade  ago,  the  contact  w ith  C hina  m ainly
      laid upon the  shoulders o f the  G eneral  Secretary
      and  a  few  staff.   A s  these  contacts  increased,
      various  com m ittees  o f  the  H K C C   also  becam e
      involved  w ith  the  C hinese  C hurch  and  C hinese
      G overnm ent.  C urrently,  the D ivisions o f Y outh,
      Social  C oncerns,  M ission,  and  the  Five  Loaves
      and  Tw o  Fish  have various  m inistries  involving
      the C hinese  C hurch.  As  one  projects  the future,
      it  seem s  certain  relationships  w ith  C hina  w ill
      definitely  increase.  Therefore,  there  seem s  to
      be a practical  need to establish a  C hina M inistry
      division  to  co-ordinate  these  C hina-related
      activities.

     T he  H K C C   is  heading  tow ards  its  41st  year  in
      H ong  K ong.   In  less  than  three  years,  H ong
     K ong  w ill  becom e  part  o f C hina.  H K C C   and
      the  H ong  K ong  C hurches  w ill  enter  into  this
      new   historical  era.   T he  past  contacts  w ith
      C hina  serve  as  a  good  foundation  for  future
     developm ent.  A lthough  it  is  an  U nknow n  W ay,
     ju st  as  Joshua  had  faced  at  the  bank  o f  the
