During the year, the Council appointed representatives to

The Council had the privilege of making local arrangements for
the Conferences held in Hong Kong and to welcome our overseas
brethren to visit the Christian Centre.
GREETINGS OFFERED TO HIS HOLINESS POPE PAUL VI
His Holiness, Pope Paul VI visited Hong Kong on Friday December
Ath 1970. A Mass was celebrated by the Pope at the Hong Kong Stadium
on that day. Some sixty Protestant Church leaders were invited to
attend the Papal Mass and were later introduced to His Holiness the
Pope. The Council offered him greetings and words of welcome on
behalf of the member churches.
