Studium Biblicum OFM 思高聖經學會

The Studium Biblicum OFM (思高聖經學會) is the Hong Kong branch of Studium Biblicum Franciscanum, which was originally founded in Beijing by the Blessed Gabriele Allegra in 1945. The three preservation projects of OFM collections, completed in 2015 and 2017, were funded by the Latourette Initiative for the Documentation of World Christianity of the Yale Divinity Library, the Studium Biblicum OFM and the Hong Kong Baptist University Library respectively.

OFM collections consist of a total of 3 directories, 29 volumes of out-of-print Chinese Bible commentaries, the first edition of the OFM Bible (1968), a Bible drawing collection 聖經圖譜, 140 manuscripts and 43 volumes of books that belonged to the Blessed Gabriele Allegra. The manuscripts include a translation work of the Blessed Gabriele Allegra as well as the drafts, second and third proofs of the first complete translation of the Catholic Bible in Chinese. The Bible is often considered the prominent Chinese Bible among Catholics.
