continue  to  w ork  together  w ith  non-C hristians  on
   social issues?

   T here  is  a  grow ing  num ber  o f  independent
    C hristian  social  concern  groups  being  established.
    H ow ever, there is currently no consensus am ong the
    churches  on  social  concerns.  In  the  age  of  rapid
    social  and  political  changes  and  continuous  crises,
    the  role  o f the  church  in  social  concerns  is  at  the
    crossroads.   B esides  continuing  to  provide  social
    service to H ong K ong people,  m em ber churches and
    organizations  o f  H K C C   should  pray  for  G o d ’s
    w isdom   and  faith  in  the  area  o f  social  concerns.
    U nder the guidance of the H oly Spirit and the m oral
    courage  given  by  our  Lord,  w e  could  regain  the
    sense  o f m ission  that  w e  had  for  the  society  w hen
    H K CC  w as  founded.  M ay  w e  face  the  future  w ith
    the  people  of H ong  K ong  and  help  them   to  com e
    out of this tim e o f profound crisis of confidence and
    uncertainty.

    The  W om en's  C om m ittee  is  now   in  its  fifth  year,   developing  a  close  contact  w ith  overseas  partners,
    having been reorganized in  1989.  D espite its young   churches  and  organizations  through  m utual  visits
    age,  the  C om m ittee  no  doubt  is  m aking  positive   and  com m unication  that  enhance  the  know ledge  of
    contributions to the church  unity  m ovem ent  and,  at   international church w om en's w ork.
    the sam e tim e,  also helping churches in H ong K ong
    understand m ore about the situation o f w om en.
                                                       It  has been  the  support  o f all  the  m em ber  churches
                                                      and  organizations  that  enabled  the  C om m ittee  to
    O ne  o f  the  first  tasks  o f  the  C om m ittee  w as  re­  play  an  active  pioneering  role.  U nder the  guidance
    establishing  the  "W om en  Pastors  Fellow ship"  for   of  the  experienced  w om en  leaders  sent  by  the
    the  purpose  o f  sh aring  experiences  on  an  inter­  m em ber churches and organizations,  the C om m ittee
    denom inational basis.  In  addition,  m ore  situational   w itnesses  the  teaching  o f  Jesus  C hrist  w ho
    and  counseling  courses  w ere  initiated  to  provide   undoubtedly held w om en  in high esteem .

    occasion  o f  the  ordination  of  the  A nglican   our  Lord  first  revealed  the  G ood  N ew s  o f  the
    C hurches' w om en pastors  in E ng lan d and  A ustralia   R esurrection  and  sent  them   to  spread  the  Gospel.
