more visitors are passing through Hong Kong and both in 1983 and 1984.
the Council’s Staff are always happy to receive them.
In order to help visitors to understand more about
what the church is doing in Hong Kong, an
"Alternative Tour" has been organized and is
conducted every Wednesday morning. Special tours
for groups can also be arranged upon request. Early
this year, the Hong Kong Tourist Association agreed
to recognize and promote these tours.
A quarterly English language publication, "News
and Views" is produced. This is aimed at expatriate
Christians in Hong Kong and those overseas with an
interest in Hong Kong, and keeps them informed
about the Ecumenical Movement and the work of the
Council. It also contains news from the English-
     speaking congregations.
RELATIONSHIP WITH THE WORLD COUNCIL OF
    CHURCHES
The HKCC is not a member of the World Council
of Churches (all members of the WCC are churches,
and the Council is not a church). However, the
Council serves as a screening body for WCC
scholarships and WCC funding for small, innovative
service projects in Hong Kong. Last summer, I
represented Hong Kong as a delegate at the WCC
Vancouver Assembly. My written and oral reports
on the Assembly stimulated much interest in the
    world body.

     RELATIONSHIP WITH THE CHRISTIAN CON
     FERENCE OF ASIA
The Council is a member of the Christian Con
ference of Asia. We continue to give considerable
administrative and financial support to the CCA's
