       “Five Loaves and Two Fish, Action by Churches Together”

       North  Korea













                                                   這位北韓新義州地區的農民,每天吃這種由蔬
                                                   菜 葉 ,草根和少許大米所煮成的粥類食物,已
                                                   經吃了八個月。(攝 於 1997年 6 月)
                                                   The North Korean farmer in  Siniuju has  survived
                                                   by  eating  congee  made  by  mixing  vegetable
                                                   leaves, grass roots and a little bit of rice.  He had
                                                   been  having  this  kind  of  diet  for  eight  months
                                                   when we took this picture in June  1997.





         「五餅二魚• 教會行動」的北韓救災始於1996
        年 初 。經運送的救援物資有大米' 麵 粉 、營養
        餅 乾 、麵 條 、種籽及藥物等。圖 爲 於 9 7 年 1
         月運送的5 0 0公噸春小麥種籽。
        The  spring  barley  seed  sent  in  January  1997  by
        ACT  has  provided  6,000  MT  of  wheat  in  the
        summer  of  1997.   ACT  has  sent  rice,  wheat
        flour,  seeds,  noodles,  com  soya  blend  and  high
        protein  biscuits  to  North  Korea  since  the
        beginning of 1996.


                                                在北韓首都平壤附近的一間幼稚園,兩歲的她,連
                                                坐也坐不起。糧食不足,這間幼稚園只能接收孱弱
                                                的一群孩童。「五餅二魚• 教會行動」曾 運 送 60
                                                公噸營養餅乾,6 7 0 公 噸 C & S混合粉與這些幼稚
                                                園和孤兒院。
                                                2-year-old  girl  in  a kindergarten  in  Pyongyang.  The
                                                staff tried to help her to sit upright, but she didn’t have
                                                the  strength.   Usually  300  children  come  to  this
                                                kindergarten, but today only the weakest are received.
                                                They cannot feed the others.
