     aw areness  o f  w om en's  issues  in  H ong  K ong,  the   C om m ittee  is  coordinating  the  program   w ith

     w hether  it  is  necessary  to  extend  the  validity  o f   T he  delegation  w as  organized  by  the  W orld
     "UN  C onvention  on  the  E lim ination  o f A ll  Form s   Council  o f  C hurches  w ith  church  w om en
     of D iscrim ination  tow ards  W om en"  to  H ong  K ong,   leaders   com ing   from    different   Pacific
     how   to  assist  w om en  w ho  are  victim s  o f  sexual   countries  from  M ay  24  -  June  6,  1994.  T he
     discrim ination  such  as  w om en  in  the  N ew       C om m ittee  planned  the  itinerary  w hich
     T erritories and how  to help w om en w ho suffer from    included  the  visitation  o f  fifteen  church
     violence.  In addition,  the  C om m ittee also  provided   denom inations,  organizations  and  w om en's
     spiritual  and  practical  resources  for  m inistry  to   action  groups.   A  banquet  hosted  by  the
     w om en in churches.                                    C om m ittee  took  place  on  M ay  30,  a  truly
                                                            joyous  occasion  to  share  our  experiences.

        Sisters  Com e".   M s.  Y im   Y uet-lin,  a  senior   M rs.  Sim one W akaine
       grassroots  w om en's  w orker,  spoke  on  the        New CaledonieEvongelical Church
       situation  and  the  problem s  that  today's  w om en   M rs.  Ietonga A iong
       are facing.  She challenged  the  churches  to  take    Vanvatu Presbyterian Church
       up  the  responsibility  to  be  concerned  about     M rs.  Y vette Tem auri
