Summing up the year's work, we have every cause for
thanksgiving. The blessings are many: the agreement with
Government on use of premises for religious purposes and
land premium on worship and parsonage space, the much
closer ties with the Church in China, the publication of the
Faith & Life text book series, the direct impact on labour
legislation, the concrete commitment to service to the
disabled. All of these show an important breakthrough. It is
possible because we all worked together in our witness to
Christ and to the community.
