in Hong Kong. After a long search for a suitalbe site and location,
the Hong Kong Christian Council finally decided to purchase four
floors, with 2,832 useable square feet of space on each floor, in
the Metropole Building at 57 Peking Hoad, Kowloon, now known as the
                  Hong Kong Christian Centre.

The agencies occupying space in the Christian Centre are the
Hong Kong Christian Council, the Hong Kong Christian Service, the
Audio-Visual Evangelism Committee, and the Chinese Christian Literature
Council. There are also three important facilities in the Centre.
Two conference rooms which are of immense benefit and convenience
                        to many Christian groups.

Hong Kong but for South East Asia areas as well.

            iv. fellopship IN THE HONG KONG Ch r i s t i a n c e n t r e

Since March 1967, sixty-two workers of the Christian organizations
in the Christian Centre started a morning devotion on every Wednesday
from 9:30 - 10:00 a.m. This gives opportunities for fellowship,
better understanding and closer working relationship among the
employees. In March 1968, a Christian Workers' Fellowship in the
Christian Centre was organized. The purpose of this fellowship is
to seek ways and means to enrich the spiritual and recreational life
                  of the workers.

             V. PASSING OF A GREAT CHRISTIAN AND FRIEND

The death of Dr. S. C. Leung was not only mourned by his relatives
but also by his many friends and Christian organizations.

Dr. S. C. Leung, who was 79, passed away at the Nethersole Hospital
on Tuesday, 20th December, 1967 after a short illness.

For many years, Dr. Leung had served as Chairman of the Hong Kong
Christian Council, he had also served as Chairman of the Church of
Christ in China and was an active member of the boards of many church
                  organizations and schools.

Dr. Leung had an international reputation as a Christian lay
leader and had on many occasions represented his Church and the Council
                  at ecumenical conferences.

There was sorrow for the passing of a great Christian and friend,
yet at the same time, we give thanks to God for Dr. Leung and the full
life of service he gave to the Lord and the society. He has gone from
our presence and yet his spirit of service has set a good example
before us as we continue to serve the church and our fellowmen.
